I just love violets. I have some in a tub that have started blooming this past week. The white ones in moms yard also started blooming at the same time.

thank you for sharing, Terry. These are actually wild growing at the trout lily preserve. Just finished cutting last year's grass an area on the property and saw one violet that stuck its little pretty head out of the ground too. It's been a rather weird (and cold) winter in North Florida this year, so I expect later blooming.

About Rotty3
Rotty3 'Canes.... Tornadoes...Fires ... ? No worries here ... Pretty much all my photos are going to be downsized to comply with WU rules as the originals generally tend to be between 2 and 5 MB and about 2500 to 4000 pixels large. Cropping and other modifications will be noted. Unless otherwise noted, all images are taken in or around North Florida. (The new WU is really not user-friendly IMO). Also, ALL images should allow for pictures. Please let me know via WU mail if you find one that's not allowing comments so I can fix it (did I mention, I'm not tickled with the new WU site and its quirks?).
