Michigan Limestone and Chemical Company (a.k.a. "Michigan Limestone") operates the world's largest limestone quarry located near Rogers City, Michigan. It was founded in 1910, however production didn't begin until 1912. 4/2013: Greetings from Michigan, where we get a wide variety of weather changes throughout the four seasons! I originally found this site for the weather, and the photos kept drawing my interest! Decided to get my first digital camera in 2010, and have since upgraded to a Nikon L120/P520, which has helped photography become my favorite hobby! I have always loved the outdoors, and now I have a perfect excuse to get out and explore nature! What a great community here, so many excellent photographers and friends, so little time! I would like to thank everyone who contributes, for all of the great inspiration and feedback! Sometime down the road I would still like to get a DSLR camera, but for now I just I hope to send a small view of life from the Great Lakes State. Home of the Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue! -James |
